The Gastroenterology and Endoscopy center at Intermed hospital provides high quality patient care in a safe and comfortable environment using the imaging technologies including high quality endoscopic system, Endoscopic imaging with X-ray, Endoscopic sonography, Ultrasonography, Computer Tomography ad Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques for diagnose upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, and upper respiratory tract diseases.

Our center is equipped with the latest model of the Japanese OLYMPUS EXERA-III endoscopic system and ERBE VIO 300C electro-cautery machine from German for endoscopic procedures. We use high performance sterilization equipment in our department, including an INNOVA E3 DH endoscopy sterilizing system, OLYMPUS ULTRASONIC equipment sterilizers, and MMM’s Format PL 349-1 series gas sterilizer. Our facility features Euro-standard room ventilation, and controlled heating and cooling systems.

We follow the International and local guidelines for infection control during gastrointestinal endoscopy provide the latest techniques and step-by-step directions on the proper procedure for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes. Routine quality assurance for disinfection endoscope was performed.

We take the safety of our patients seriously; using carbon dioxide insufflation in the performance of advanced, sedated endoscopy to prevent procedure related risks and disposable accessories to reduce infection.
